In a union election, a slate is a group of candidates who run together on a common platform with similar goals. This is also sometimes called "ticket voting".

The nomination and election of officers for Local 320 will be conducted in a manner that is consistent with Article XXII of the IBT Constitution and with Section 17 of the Local Union 320 Bylaws, as approved on March 1, 2018.

Proper identification is required to be admitted to the meeting.

A General Membership Meeting of Local 320 IBT will be held for the purpose of nominating candidates for Secretary-Treasurer (Principal Officer), President, Vice President, Recording Secretary, and three (3) Trustees of Local 320 IBT. The terms of office for these officers will begin on January 1, 2026, and will end on December 31, 2028.

The Nomination Meeting will be held on Saturday, November 1, 2025, at 11:30 A.M. Central Standard Time. At Local 320 Meeting Room - 3rd Floor, 3001 University Avenue Southeast, Minneapolis, MN 55414

Nominations must be made and seconded at the Nomination Meeting by a member in good standing other than the nominee. A member unable to attend may nominate or second a nomination in writing. A member must accept their nomination at the meeting or, if unable to attend, in writing. Any such written nomination, second, and acceptance must be received by mail by the Secretary-Treasurer by 4 P.M. on Friday, October 31, 2025, at Local 320 or hand delivered to the Secretary-Treasurer by 11:30 A.M. on November 1, 2025, before the start of the Nomination Meeting. To nominate or second a candidate or otherwise participate in the nomination meeting, a member must have their dues paid up through the month of October 2025 and must be an active member on the day of the nomination meeting. Eligibility to nominate or second a nomination may be restored by full payment of dues arrearages on or before October 31, 2025, at 12:00 noon at the offices of Local 320.
